last week we had to make a piece of persuasive writing, we chose the topics out of other ideas but I chose this one :)
Why exercise every day is good for our wellbeing
Exercise, this exhausting word keeps everyone away from their sports shoes and keeps them in bed all day. We all know that exercise is very good for our living but what exactly does it do? I am going to inform you why regular exercise is good for our wellbeing.
I'm not a big fan of exercise myself, but I suppose writing this will convince me to do more active exercise by listening to all the things it can help reduce your risk of, like diabetes, cancer, heart disease and cardiovascular disease.
Believe it or not, even just a little bit of walking can strengthen your bones and reduce your chances of a stroke, it even helps you to maintain a healthy weight! Only a slight bit of exercise that gets you puffed and pumped can help to lose weight and improve your quality of life, it won’t hurt to get outside and do some active things instead of lounging around on your bed or couch, it makes you feel so much better about yourself too!
In the winter season I play netball, every week I go to the courts and compete against a lot of other teams and either win or lose, moving around on that court for 32 minutes reduces stress and improves my heart health. Researchers even think that “running may be so good for us because its something we evolved to do.” I also do swimming practise in the summer two times a week for an hour, when I get out of the pool I feel not only refreshed but energized and good about my self. The benefits of swimming are that it builds endurance and muscle strength, swimming also helps you to keep a healthy heart and lungs.
You don’t need to have an expensive gym membership to exercise, you can do it in the comfort of your own home, just find a space that you think is big enough and do some simple fitness exercises. Running or walking around your neighbourhood regularly is lots of exercise. When you are outside you are inhaling and exhaling the fresh air, by doing this it cleans your lungs, helps the airways of your lungs to dilate fuller and it also clears the airborne toxins from your body.
We all know it's not hard to do simple physical activity, so face it, your lazy! Don’t hide from exercise, just go out and feel good about yourself because at the end of the day we all know that exercise is so much better than being a lazy couch potato!
